It features a remotely controllable power distribution system and temperature-monitored ventilation.

Organizing the Control Room

The RK19 accommodates H142-One or H142-PRO receivers, antenna control units, and other 19-inch accessories. Electrical and data connections remain consolidated within the rack. The PDU distribution system allows devices to be powered on or off remotely, up to the specified limit of eight connections.

Air Inlet and Circulation

Both rear doors feature perforated metal mesh to allow air to circulate. The removable side panel provides easy access to the installed equipment. Four fans and a sensor help regulate the temperature. The receivers and other devices shown in the manufacturer’s example illustrate an installation; they are not part of the RK19’s advertised standard equipment.

Technical specifications

Reference

RK19

Format

19", 24U

Width

600 mm

Depth

800 mm

Height

1200 mm

Mass

60 kg

Ventilation

Four fans with temperature sensors

Electrical Distribution

PDU for up to eight devices, remote on/off

Access

One front door, two rear doors; removable side panel

PrimaLuceLab Official Fact Sheet

The PrimaLuceLab RK19 rack houses the receivers and control units of a radio telescope in a 19-inch, 24U chassis.
