Select the kit that matches your camera; the camera is not included with this accessory.

Setup and Use

This kit is offered as an accessory for a compatible camera that has already been purchased or ordered separately. It does not include a camera. Its purpose is to combine a lens and an infrared-cut filter for a wide-field setup designed for observing the Milky Way. The inclusion of the lens allows this setup to be used without a telescope; however, you will still need to connect and control the camera you are using.

The LP825 filter selects the infrared spectrum corresponding to its designation. It is not an IR-cut filter; on the contrary, an IR-cut filter is designed to block infrared light. This difference is critical when selecting a camera and its protective window. An accessory designed for infrared imaging must be integrated into an optical system suited to this application, rather than chosen based solely on the apparent diameter of the lens.

The three options correspond to the GPM, G3M, and G3CMOS families. Select the one that matches the camera you are using. The connection components shown differ by product family; therefore, the versions should not be considered mechanically interchangeable. The GPM option does not automatically replace the G3M option, and the G3CMOS version must be selected for the specific application it is intended for.

The manufacturer presents this accessory for photographing the Milky Way, particularly in areas where the sky is affected by light pollution. This intended use does not guarantee specific results, as they depend on shooting conditions. Exposure, sky clarity, focus, and post-processing must be adjusted according to the specific shooting conditions. Verify the exact model of your camera and the kit version before assembly, and be sure to distinguish this accessory on its own from kits that also include a camera.

Technical specifications

Filter

825 nm Infrared Filter

Contents

Filter and Lens

Versions

GPM / G3M / G3CMOS

Camera

Not included

The ToupTek infrared accessory combines an 825-nm infrared filter with a lens to photograph the Milky Way without a telescope.

[831
756

post-19637","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_brand-touptek","product_cat-objectifs-photographiques","first","on_supplier","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-variable
["GET
