This extension value is the one provided for the adapter: it does not replace the need to verify the back focus required by the telescope, its correctors, and the other elements of the optical train. The manufacturer\u2019s page does not specify the pitch of the two threads in the text: this must be verified before ordering for a specific setup.<\/p>\n

The terms \u201cfemale\u201d and \u201cmale\u201d describe the two sides of the adapter. They are not sufficient to determine compatibility with every camera or wheel of these diameters.
