This PrimaLuceLab heater prevents condensation from forming on the optics by heating the tube near them.<\/p>\n
The 60-mm version fits tubes with diameters ranging from 50 to 70 mm. The Velcro fastener and elastic band allow the strap to be secured around the tube. The diameter range should be verified at the actual point where the strap wraps around the tube, rather than being determined solely by the optical aperture.<\/p>\n
The manufacturer specifies power supply and control via an EAGLE, as well as connection to an external 12-volt power source equipped with an RCA connector. The EAGLE is therefore an optional control device, not an accessory listed as included.<\/p>\n
This type of equipment is particularly effective at addressing the problem of fogging that occurs on eyepieces and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. Be sure to include the power consumption of this model in the system\u2019s power balance.<\/p>\n
