The Baader 2455037 cable connects the RJ11 connector on a compatible Celestron hand controller to an RS-232 serial interface on a computer. Its 3.5-meter length provides sufficient distance between the two devices.
Baader designed this cable for updating Flash EPROM controllers and for controlling the telescope, particularly with NexRemote. If your computer does not have an RS-232 port, a separate USB-to-RS-232 converter is required. Check your controller’s connector before choosing this cable.
