Article 2 - Products and services
We offer astronomy equipment and related training courses for sale. The key features of our products and services are presented on our website. Images and descriptions are provided for informational purposes only and are not contractually binding. Our product offers are valid while supplies last. If a product is unavailable after an order has been confirmed, the customer will be notified promptly and will have the choice between a full refund or a replacement with an equivalent or similar product, subject to the customer’s agreement.Article 3 - Prices
The prices listed on our website are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the value-added tax (VAT) applicable in Switzerland. Shipping is free in most cases. However, certain products, order quantities, or delivery destinations may incur additional shipping charges, which will be clearly indicated before you confirm your order. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but products will be billed based on the prices in effect at the time you confirm your order. We strive to ensure the accuracy of the prices displayed on our website. However, in the event of an obvious pricing error (for example, a price significantly lower than the product’s actual value due to a technical or human error), we reserve the right to cancel or correct the order, even after confirmation by email. In such cases, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and may choose to accept the new price or cancel the order at no charge. We assume no liability for typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the information displayed on our website, including product prices and availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors without prior notice.Article 4 - Orders
To place an order, you must follow the process outlined on our website. Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing the details of your purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute with the customer, non-payment, or for any other legitimate reason.
Right of refusal for abuse : Deep Space Astronomy SA reserves the right to refuse, cancel outright or limit any order from a customer with a history of abusive behavior, including - but not limited to - repeated cancellations, unjustified chargebacks, fraudulent returns, misuse of payment means or any other behavior contrary to the practices of good faith commerce. This decision may be taken without prior notice and without obligation to state reasons.
By validating his/her order, the customer acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and unreservedly accepts the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Article 5 - Payment
Payment is made online using the secure payment methods offered on our website (credit card, Klarna, TWINT, PayPal, or any other third-party payment provider). The order will be processed only after receipt of full payment or after the payment provider has approved the financing. For payments by invoice, the amount is due within 10 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise specified. Deep Space Astronomy SA reserves the right to refuse or limit this payment method at its sole discretion.
Fees for third-party payment providers : When a customer uses a third-party payment service (Klarna, PayPal, or any other similar provider), that provider may charge Deep Space Astronomy SA processing, administrative, or financing fees. These fees are non-recoverable.
Consequently, in the event of cancellation of an order by the customer after its validation, the transaction fees already invoiced to Deep Space Astronomy SA by the payment service provider will not be reimbursed to the customer. The amount of these fees will be deducted from any refund due. The customer is informed of this and agrees to this condition upon confirming the order.
The exact amount of the fees deducted depends on the payment service provider used and will be provided to the customer upon request.
Article 5bis - Retention of title
Delivered products remain the property of Deep Space Astronomy SA until full payment has been received. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to repossess the products delivered.Article 6 - Delivery
We ship our products within Switzerland and internationally. Delivery times are indicated at the time of order and may vary depending on the destination and logistical conditions. You assume all risks associated with shipping once the items leave our premises. In the event of damage during shipping, you must file a formal complaint with the carrier within three days of delivery.Article 7 - Right of withdrawal and cancellation
In accordance with Swiss law, no right of withdrawal or exchange is granted once an order has been confirmed, whether online or in store. All sales are firm and final. Returns are accepted only if the product is defective, damaged upon delivery, or does not match the order, in accordance with the legal provisions regarding the warranty. In these specific cases, the customer must report the problem within 5 working days upon receipt of the package, providing clear photos of the product and the packaging. No returns will be accepted without prior approval from Deep Space Astronomy SA. Returned products must be complete, in their original packaging, and accompanied by all accessories. Any product showing signs of use, assembly, or modification will be refused.
Cancellation after validation : In the exceptional case where a cancellation is accepted by Deep Space Astronomy SA after validation of the order, the refund will be made after deduction of the non-recoverable transaction costs invoiced by the third-party payment service providers (Klarna, PayPal, etc.), in accordance with article 5 of these GTC.
