Versatile Design Built for Excellence

Askar's 107PHQ is designed to adapt to all observation and astronomical photography situations. This f/7 model features four lenses, two of which are ED glass, for optimum reduction of chromatic aberration. It guarantees exceptional color correction even at magnifications of up to 300x for visual observation.

The integrated Flatfield lens is a major asset, enabling the 107PHQ to produce full-frame 44mm images with a flat field. Thanks to a central RMS radius of just 3μm, even the most demanding users will be satisfied by the sharpness of the stars, without distortion or vignetting, even in the corners.

Easy to use - No Field Corrector Required

The 107PHQ frees you from complex back-focus calculations and tedious connection steps. You can equip it with any imaging device, focus it, and get sharp images, without the need for additional accessories. This makes it the perfect choice for beginners and advanced astrophotographers alike.

Amazing Performance in Imaging and Observation

With an aperture of 107 mm and a focal length of 749 mm, the 107PHQ is capable of capturing the finest details of your targets, from small stars to planets. In imaging mode, it is compatible with various accessories, offering focusing distances of :

  • 79 mm (from base of M48x0.75 thread)
  • 99 mm (from base of M54x0.75 thread)
  • 119 mm (from base of M68x1 thread)

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Which camera should I pair it with?

Should we add a field leveler?

No. Its optical design (flat-field ED quadruplet) inherently produces a flat field, with sharp stars all the way to the corners, without the need for an external field flattener. To increase the field of view and brightness, the dedicated reducer (Reducer 0.7x 107PHQ, 130PHQ, 151PHQ) la porte à 524 mm à f/4,9.

What backfocus should be used?

79 mm depuis M48×0,75 (99 mm depuis M54, 119 mm depuis M68×1, 149 mm depuis M86×1), porte-oculaire rentré.

What kind of frame should I choose?

Can it also be used as a visual?
