Visit Askar 71F is a compact and versatile apochromatic telescope, designed for both
l’wide-field astrophotography as well as for visual observation. Its air-spaced quadruplet objective,
featuring an ED glass element, offers excellent chromatic aberration correction and a corrected field compatible with the
full-frame sensors.
Thanks to its optical design featuring integrated flat field, the 71F does not require any additional field corrector.
It is also not necessary to maintain a specific backfocus distance: simply connect the equipment
take a photo, and then focus.
The Askar 71F has an aperture of 71 mm, a focal length of 490 mm and a native focal ratio
from f/6.9. Its air-spaced APO quadruplet optical design includes an ED element that helps reduce
effectively corrects chromatic aberrations.
Its image circle, corrected for 44 mm allows it to be used with astronomical cameras and regular cameras
equipped with full-frame sensors, while maintaining well-defined stars all the way to the corners of the image.
The 71F is a native flat-field eyepiece. Therefore, it does not require the purchase of a field corrector or a field flattener.

After setting up your camera, filter wheel, or camera, all you need to do is focus to
begin data acquisition. This design greatly simplifies the setup of the imaging system.
The Askar 71F comes with a set of photographic adapter rings and tubes that include, among other things, connections
M54 × 0.75 and M48 × 0.75. The M48 adapter also features a thread that allows
the installation of a 2-inch filter.
The eyepiece can therefore be easily used with an SLR or mirrorless camera, a cooled astronomical camera,
a filter wheel, a filter drawer, or other photography accessories.
The optical tube is fully CNC-machined and features a compact, rugged design. The retractable anti-fog shield
reduces the transport distance, while its interior, coated with a matte finish, minimizes unwanted reflections.
The rack-and-pinion eyepiece holder from 2.4 inches features a multi-stage focusing system 1:10.
A 360° graduated field rotator allows for precise adjustment of the camera's orientation.
The top handle has a slot for a search tool. There are two additional slots on each side.

1/4″ and 3/8″, allowing for direct attachment to many camera tripods or heads
