The Sky-Watcher HAC125DX Minigraph is a advanced catadioptric astrograph using optical design Honders, combining refractive and reflective surfaces to offer an ultra-fast, lightweight and compact instrument. With its f/2 ratio and its 250 mm focal length, it captures images up to 5× faster than a conventional f/4.9 lens, considerably reducing exposure times and often making autoguiding unnecessary.
Equipped with a Mangin primary mirror with treatment Radiant Aluminum Quartz (RAQ™) and a treated corrector HTMC™, the HAC125DX delivers sharp, high-contrast images with limited diffraction and an image circle of 16 mm perfectly matched to cameras IMX533 and IMX585. Sound new helical focusing system on the primary lens extends compatibility with different camera models and simplifies focusing in real-life use.
