is placed between the tripod and the mount. By raising your
installation of 200 mm, it increases the clearance
between your instrument and the tripod legs, a great feature for
long-focus lenses and astrophotography setups.

More space for your equipment

This extra height helps reduce the risk of contact
between the tripod, the optical tube, and the accessories placed at
the back of the instrument. This makes it easier to use
your setup when pointing toward the zenith or during
meridian reversals, depending on the geometry of your equipment.
