The removable housing accommodates a 2-inch filter.
Two magnets hold the filter holder in place, while a screw
The side adjustment allows you to adjust the play. This second generation
features a design that minimizes light leakage

The M54 II model is particularly well-suited for
ASI2600MC Duo, ASI6200, and ASI2400.
For other cameras, check the available thread size.
Generation I and II filter holders are not interchangeable.
For the’ASI585MC Pro, we recommend the
ZWO Filter Drawer M42 II for 2″ Filters.
Its M42 × 0.75 male connector screws directly onto the ring
the camera's original 11 mm lens, without an additional adapter
on the camera side.
If you're using the M54 II, plan for a
M54 × 0.75 female to M42 × 0.75 male (T2) adapter ring,
while keeping the camera's original ring.
The thickness added by the adapter must be factored into the
Calculation of backfocus.
For a corrector requiring 55 mm of backfocus:
16.5 mm extension + 21 mm M42 II drawer +
ASI585MC Pro: 17.5 mm = 55 mm.
The camera's 17.5 mm measurement includes its 11 mm ring.
Check the connection on the corrector side and adjust the spacing
depending on the filter used and the manufacturer's recommendations.
