Visit TS-Optics ADC (Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector) is designed to significantly improve sharpness and detail during planetary or lunar observation and imaging, particularly when the stars are close to the horizon. Thanks to two adjustable prisms, it compensates for chromatic shift induced by the atmosphere, delivering sharper, higher-contrast images.
Near the horizon, light passes through a thicker atmosphere. Each wavelength is refracted differently (red vs. blue), creating a visible chromatic shift: planets appear blurred and surrounded by coloured bangs. The TS-ADC corrects this effect in real time, bringing the colors back to the same → focal plane. finer, more contrasting and detailed stars and planets.
The system consists of three components screwed together via T2 threads:
It mounts easily on any telescope accepting T2 or 1.25″. Cameras and eyepieces connect via T2 or standard thread.
