The focal reducer 2″ 0.67x is a high-quality optical accessory for astrophotographers wishing to optimize their instrument. By reducing the telescope's focal length by a factor 0,67x, With a wide field of view and significantly reduced exposure times, this is a major advantage for deep-sky imaging.
This reducer is ideal for Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes, for which it offers an excellent compromise between field correction and focal length reduction. It also works well with :
Its optical design ensures homogeneous field illumination for DSLR up to APS-C format, with a full illumination up to 29 mm.
The TS-Optics gearbox has been designed for easy integration into complex optical trains. The optimum working distance of 85 mm between thread M48x0.75 and the sensor offers ample space for the addition of accessories essential to astrophotography, such as a optical splitter (OAG) or a filter wheel.
Connection to the telescope is simply via a 2″ barrel, This guarantees extensive compatibility and rapid implementation.
| Reduction factor | 0,67x |
| Mechanical diameter | 2″ |
| Telescope compatibility | RC, EdgeHD, ACF, Maksutov-Cassegrain, f/8+ refractors |
| Corrected/illuminated field | APS-C - full illumination up to 29 mm |
| Optimum working distance | 85 mm (M48x0.75 → sensor) |
| Telescope connection | 2″ barrel |
