A compact camera designed to support your astrophotography sessions.
Its large monochrome sensor measuring 11.3 × 7.1 mm
offers a wide field of view, making it easier to find a guide star,
in particular, using a suitable optical splitter.
With a resolution of 1936 × 1216 pixels and
pixels of 5.86 µm, the ASI174MM Mini is suitable
especially for long-focal-length autoguiding setups.
Its wide field of view is an asset for telescopes
Schmidt-Cassegrain and Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes used with an optical splitter.
Its coulant-style format 31.75 mm (1.25″)
makes it easy to mount on a guide scope or a splitter
Compatible lens. It features a connection
USB 2.0 with USB-C connector and a
ST4 port that allows corrections to be submitted
to a mount equipped with a compatible input.

La ZWO ASI174MM Mini est destinée à l'autoguidage : montée sur une petite lunette guide ou un diviseur optique, elle suit une étoile et envoie les corrections à la monture pendant les poses longues. Avec ses pixels de 5,86 µm, elle échantillonne à environ 9,4″ par pixel sur une lunette guide Askar 32 mm (128 mm de focale) et 5,8″ sur l'Askar 52 mm (208 mm). La lunette guide convient aux focales d'imagerie courtes à moyennes ; pour les longues focales, le diviseur optique est plus précis car il guide à travers l'instrument principal.
The Sony IMX249 combines a global shutter with large 5.86 µm pixels (the same as the IMX174, but with a lower frame rate): highly sensitive, it easily finds a guide star, with a well capacity of 32 ke⁻.
No: It is powered by its USB cable. No external power source is required.
The camera's back focus is 8.5 mm. Mounts: 1.25″ and M28.5 × 0.6.
It slides into the 1.25″ eyepiece holder of a guide scope, such as the'Askar 32 mm or the'Askar 52 mm, or can be mounted on an optical splitter. The ST4 port allows corrections to be sent directly to the mount; when using a computer or an ASIAIR, guiding is most often done via USB.
