The C82 PrimaLuceLab column is designed for permanent telescope installation on a concrete base. It takes up less floor space than a tripod and minimizes the risk of contact between the tube and the legs when the mount is in motion.
The structure is made of steel with a 5-mm-thick central tube wall and a white painted finish. The circular base measures 35 cm in diameter. The manufacturer specifies a height of 82 cm when the optional mount adapter is added; this height does not refer to the bare tube.
The base has three pairs of holes spaced 120 degrees apart. Each pair consists of a through hole for securing the base to concrete and an M16 threaded hole for a thrust screw used to adjust the vertical alignment during installation.
Optional adapters are available for the EQ6, EQ6-R, AZ-EQ6, and CGEM, as well as for the EQ5, HEQ5, and AZ-EQ5. The column does not automatically include the adapter compatible with your mount. The product description does not specify a rated load capacity, and the foundation must be prepared for installation.
