1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as "GTCS") govern the contractual relationship between Deep Space Astronomy SAlocated at Rue du Vieux-Marché 13, 1260 Nyon, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or "the company"), and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as "the customer" or "you") making a purchase via our website. https://deep-space-astronomy.ch/ (hereinafter "the site").

By placing an order on our site, you accept these terms and conditions without reservation.

2. Products and services

We sell astronomy equipment and related training courses. The essential characteristics of our products and services are presented on our website. Images and descriptions are provided for information only and have no contractual value.

Our product offers are subject to availability. In the event of unavailability after validation of an order, the customer will be informed promptly and will have the choice between a full refund or replacement by an equivalent or similar product, subject to his agreement.

3. Awards

The prices displayed on our site are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the value-added tax (VAT) applicable in Switzerland. Delivery is free in most cases. However, certain products, volumes or destinations may incur additional delivery charges, which will be clearly indicated before the order is confirmed.

We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time your order is validated.

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the prices displayed on our site. However, in the event of an obvious pricing error (e.g. a price significantly lower than the actual value of the product due to a technical or human error), we reserve the right to cancel or correct the order, even after confirmation by e-mail. In this case, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and may choose to accept the new price or cancel the order free of charge.

We accept no responsibility for typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions in the information displayed on our site, including prices and product availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors without notice.

4. Controls

To place an order, you must follow the process indicated on our site. Once your order has been validated, you will receive a confirmation e-mail summarizing the details of your purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute with the customer, non-payment or for any other legitimate reason.

By validating his/her order, the customer acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and unreservedly accepts the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

5. Payment

Payment is made online using the secure payment methods available on our website. Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received.

In the case of payment by invoice, the amount is due within 10 days of the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Deep Space Astronomy SA reserves the right to refuse or limit this method of payment at its sole discretion.

5bis. Reservation of title

Delivered products remain the property of Deep Space Astronomy SA until full payment has been received. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to repossess the products delivered.

6. Delivery

We deliver our products in Switzerland and abroad. Delivery times are indicated at the time of ordering and may vary according to destination and logistical conditions.

Transport risks are borne by you from the moment the goods leave our premises. In the event of damage in transit, you must lodge a reasoned protest with the carrier within three days of delivery.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Swiss law, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to justify your decision or pay any penalties. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Returned products must be in their original condition and complete. Damaged or incomplete products will not be accepted.

8. Warranty and liability

Our products are covered by the legal warranty against non-conformity and hidden defects. In the event of a defective or non-compliant product, please contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot be held liable for misuse, negligence or force majeure.

9. Personal data protection

10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the Canton of Vaud shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Modification of the GTC

Deep Space Astronomy SA reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The applicable GCS are those in force on the date of the customer's order.
