This PrimaLuceLab heater prevents condensation from forming on the optics by heating the tube near them.
La version 250 mm s’adapte aux tubes dont le diamètre se situe entre 250 à 300 mm. Le maintien par Velcro et l’élément élastique permettent de disposer la bande autour du tube. La plage de diamètre doit être vérifiée sur la partie réellement entourée, plutôt que déduite uniquement de l’ouverture optique.
The manufacturer specifies power supply and control via an EAGLE, as well as connection to an external 12-volt power source equipped with an RCA connector. The EAGLE is therefore an optional control device, not an accessory listed as included.
This type of equipment is particularly effective at addressing the problem of fogging that occurs on eyepieces and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. Be sure to include the power consumption of this model in the system’s power balance.

Secure the strap around the tube using its Velcro fastener, then connect its RCA connector to a suitable 12-volt power source. With a compatible EAGLE unit and the ECCO2 module along with its probes, the heater’s power can be automatically regulated based on the dew point. These control devices are separate from the heater and are not included.
