Pegasus DewZap controller (2 resistors)

Control Humidity for Optimal Observations

The DewZap controller Pegasus Astro is a compact, high-performance device designed to manage your heating elements during your stargazing sessions. By precisely regulating the heat, it prevents fogging on your optical equipment, ensuring clear, uninterrupted observations.

DewZap main features

Independent Dual Channel

The DewZap is equipped with two independent digital RCA outputsThis allows simultaneous control of two heating elements. Each channel can be adjusted individually via dedicated buttons, offering optimum flexibility according to the specific needs of your equipment.

Precise Control with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)

Thanks to advanced electronics, the DewZap uses the pulse width modulation (PWM) to precisely adjust the power of the heating resistors. This technology modulates power from 0 to 100%, optimizing energy consumption while protecting your optics.

High power and integrated safety

• High current capacity : Each channel can supply up to 5 amps, ensuring efficient operation even with high-power heating elements.
• Reverse Polarity Protection: DewZap protects your equipment against damage caused by accidental polarity reversal.
• LED operating indicator : A front-panel LED provides a clear visual indication of the controller's operating status.

Technical Specifications

• Supply Voltage: 12V DC
• Releases : Two digital RCA connectors
• Dimensions : 66 mm x 66 mm x 28 mm

Why choose the DewZap controller from Pegasus Astro?

The DewZap is a must-have solution for astronomers looking to protect their optics from fogging. Its compact design, advanced features, and ease of use make it an ideal accessory for ensuring high-quality observations, even in challenging weather conditions.

Thanks to its precise controlhis universal compatibility and its integrated safetyThe DewZap is a first-rate choice for astronomy enthusiasts who want to preserve the clarity of their observations.

Reference and Configuration

How do I check for compatibility?

Before setting up your system, compare the exact part number, generation, and connection types of your equipment with the manufacturer’s documentation. An accessory from a different generation is not necessarily interchangeable.
