The PrimaLuceLab PLUS 1100 mm bar is a long mount with a Losmandy-style profile. It provides mounting space for the optical tube and accessories arranged in parallel.
The manufacturer describes an installation on a Celestron SC 14″ or EdgeHD 14″ with the original aluminum dew shield for use with the ALTO-3 and GIOTTO430. It also mentions the RASA 11″ with the ALTO-2 and GIOTTO320. For these setups, the PLLSAG925 curved mounts and the PLLMORVLP clamp must be added. They are not listed as included with this bar.
The threaded holes and slots make it easy to attach PLUS components, such as clamps and brackets. The bar can also be placed above the clamps to connect the mount and accommodate accessories. The 30 kg recommendation applies to the optical tube according to the manufacturer; it does not, by itself, validate the load capacity of the mount or any custom assembly.
