La bande élastique et la fermeture par Velcro assurent le maintien sur le tube. L’alimentation est de 12 V et le courant indiqué pour cette référence est de 480 mA. Cette valeur est celle publiée pour ce modèle précis ; elle n’est pas extrapolée des autres diamètres de la gamme.
The heating element is designed to be powered and controlled by EAGLE. It can also be connected to an external 12 V power source equipped with an RCA connector. The controller and power supply are not included with this heating tape model.
To select the correct size, use the outer diameter at the mounting point rather than just the optical diameter listed on the telescope. Refractors and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes are among the types of tubes recommended by the manufacturer for this purpose.

Secure the strap around the tube using its Velcro fastener, then connect its RCA connector to a suitable 12-volt power source. With a compatible EAGLE unit and the ECCO2 module along with its probes, the heater’s power can be automatically regulated based on the dew point. These control devices are separate from the heater and are not included.
