Schmidt-Cassegrain C9.25 EdgeHD 235mm (9.25″)

Celestron C9.25 EdgeHD: A New Dimension in Sky Exploration

Dive into the universe with the Celestron C9.25 EdgeHD, a new-generation Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope offering sharp, aberration-free images right down to the edges of the widest sensors and eyepieces. Whether you're passionate about visual observation or astrophotography, this telescope combines outstanding optical performance with advanced mechanical design to meet your highest expectations.

Astrographic-quality optics

• Aberration correction : Eliminates coma and field curvature for perfectly punctual stars, even with the largest digital sensors.
• Ultra-flat focal plane: More than three times flatter than a conventional Schmidt-Cassegrain, ideal for imaging with large CCD or CMOS sensors.
• Maximum light transmission : Thanks to Celestron's StarBright XLT coating, each optical surface optimizes light capture for bright, high-contrast images.

Superior performance and versatility

• Native focal ratio f/10 : Suitable for a wide range of astrophotographic and visual applications.
• Adjustable focus thanks to Fastar : Transform the telescope into an ultra-fast f/2 system for wide-field shooting, by removing the secondary mirror and adding a third-party accessory.
• High-resolution observation : Combine with a Barlow lens for detailed images of the Moon, planets or Sun.
• Enhanced visual observation : Enjoy a clear, detailed view of deep-sky objects, star clusters and nebulae.

Advanced mechanical features

• Primary mirror lock : Reduces shifting during long exposures, ensuring a stable, centered image.
• Ventilation system : Vents at the rear of the tube evacuate hot air behind the primary mirror, while a 50-micron mesh filter keeps out dust.
• Fastar compatibility : Allows ultra-fast imaging at f/2, ideal for capturing celestial objects in a wide field.

Rigorous quality testing

Every Celestron C9.25 EdgeHD undergoes rigorous pre-shipment testing, with optical and mechanical validation using an artificial star and camera to ensure optimum performance in the field.

Accessories included for immediate use

• 9×50 finder: For pinpointing your targets.
• Diagonal 2" mirror: For comfortable observation with wide-field eyepieces.
• Luminos 23 mm (2") eyepiece: For a wide, detailed view right out of the box.

Versatile applications

• Advanced astrophotography : Capture precise details of deep-sky objects, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.
• Immersive visual observation : Explore the wonders of the sky with incomparable clarity.
• Fast imaging with Fastar : Ideal for short, efficient imaging sessions.
