Its maximum useful magnification is approximately 380× (2 × the diameter in mm); in practice, atmospheric turbulence often limits observation to lower magnifications.

For home use, we recommend the'Pegasus Astro 12 V 10 A power supply with a 5.5 × 2.1 mm plug : regulated 12.5 V output, high current reserve, and it will later be able to power a Pegasus hub (Pocket Powerbox) for the camera and the anti-fog heating elements.
