This ultra-sturdy column tripod has been designed to provide maximum stability for the most demanding astronomy configurations. Its construction extra heavy duty guarantees exceptional rigidity, keeping vibrations to a minimum during observation sessions or long exposure astrophotography.
Compatible with high-end frames CQ350, EQ8, EQ8-R and EQ8-Rh PRO, This mount is ideal for heavy setups requiring optimum tracking accuracy. It ensures excellent stability even with large-diameter telescopes or complete astrophotographic equipment.
The tripod is height-adjustable, making it easy to adjust the working position between 750 mm and 1000 mm. This flexibility enhances user comfort and enables optimum adaptation to different observation environments, whether fixed or nomadic.
Its all-steel structure offers high resistance to mechanical stress, while ensuring excellent durability over time. Despite its sturdiness, the tripod is easy to transport, weighing in at around 29.5 kg, This guarantees an ideal compromise between stability and mobility for a frame in this category.
Designed for discerning astronomers, this Pier tripod provides a reliable and indispensable basis for fully exploiting the performance of Sky-Watcher EQ8 and CQ350 mounts in advanced astrophotography.
