The CAA replaces a spacer ring in compatible setups and must be taken into account when calculating backfocus. Its front connection is a female M54; the rear M54/M48 connections depend on the adapter used. Check for sufficient cable clearance during a full rotation and observe the manufacturer’s torque limits. The dedicated manual control is a separate accessory. For a camera or corrector with an M42 mount, choose the appropriate adapter ring rather than forcing an incompatible connection.
