The Acuter brand is recognized worldwide for its innovative, high-quality astronomical instruments, designed for both amateur and educational use. The Acuter Voyager MAK127-FAST embodies this philosophy perfectly, offering a powerful, versatile Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope equipped with modern technologies for the ultimate viewing experience.
With its generous 127 mm aperture, this telescope offers outstanding performance for observing double stars, fine details of the lunar surface and bright planets. Its 1359 mm (f/10.7) long focal length optical system delivers detailed, high-contrast, razor-sharp images. The broadband multi-coating applied to the optics maximizes light transmission and considerably enhances visual quality.
One of the major innovations of this model is its revolutionary focusing system. The focuser with friction drive, with its patented design, replaces the traditional rotary knobs. This system uses a dual control for fast, smooth and precise adjustment by moving the primary mirror. It is complemented by a handy focus distance indicator, showing the ideal positions for distances of 16 meters, 32 meters and infinity. This technology guarantees fast, effortless focusing, ideal for field observations.
The Voyager MAK127-FAST comes with a complete set of quality accessories for immediate use. It includes a 20 mm eyepiece offering 68x magnification and a wide 70° apparent field, for optimum immersion. The 6×30 optical finder with rectified image makes it easy to spot celestial objects, while the 90° angled eyepiece ensures enhanced viewing comfort.
This model is also designed for photography. Thanks to the included universal smartphone adapter, you can easily capture images of the Moon, planets or even terrestrial landscapes. This accessory transforms the telescope into a versatile tool, ideal for sharing your observations and progressing in astrophotography.
The MAK127-FAST is upgradeable and compatible with standard 1.25″ eyepieces, allowing you to increase magnifications as required. It is also supplied with a 2″ to 1.25″ adapter, offering the possibility of installing a 2″ angled return (optional) for even greater flexibility. Its 45 mm dovetail-type mounting bar makes it easy to install on a variety of mounts.
Despite its high performance, this telescope remains transportable thanks to its compact design and included carrying case. Weighing just 4.3 kg, it is easy to handle and move around, making it an excellent companion for outdoor observations.
The Maksutov-Cassegrain design takes its name from Dmitri Maksutov, a Russian optician and astronomer who introduced the concept in 1941. This design is renowned for its compactness, robustness and exceptional image quality.
