0.85x reducer / Sky-Watcher Evostar 72ED corrector

0.85x reducer / Sky-Watcher Evostar 72ED corrector

The reducer 0.85x / corrector Sky-Watcher Evostar 72ED is a high-quality accessory specially designed for demanding astrophotographers. Optimized for astro-imaging, it effectively reduces the telescope's focal length while greatly improving the correction of edge-of-field aberrations for sharper, more homogeneous images.

Thanks to its 0,85x, This accessory increases the photographic field and reduces the focal ratio of the instrument, enabling shorter exposure times and better capture of deep-sky objects. This configuration is particularly suitable for photographing large nebulae, star clusters and extended celestial fields.

The corrector significantly improves the quality of stars at the image periphery thanks to a advanced field correction. The stars remain fine and punctual over a larger area of the sensor, offering cleaner, more professional results in astrophotography.

The optics benefit from multilayer optimizing light transmission and reducing internal reflections. This design enhances overall image contrast and makes it possible to better reproduce the faint details of the deep sky.

This reducer/corrector is fitted with a M48 camera side and a connection M56 telescope side, It is ideal for use with modern astrophotography accessories. It is designed for use with Sky-Watcher Nikon or Canon M48 T-rings, This guarantees a stable, secure connection with SLR and hybrid cameras.

With a 55 mm backfocus, A standard widely used in astrophotography, it facilitates the integration of astronomical cameras without the need for complex configuration. Its optical length of 50 mm and its contained weight of 260 g allow balanced integration into both mobile and fixed configurations.

Designed specifically for Sky-Watcher 72/420 Evostar ED, This focal reducer/corrector is an essential accessory for fully exploiting the scope's performance in deep-sky astrophotography.
