Visit HAE43B EC iMate is the most advanced version of the new series of AZ/Equatorial technology frames. Strain Wave Gear from iOptron. Thanks to its high-precision encoder on right ascension axis (RA), it offers exceptional tracking accuracy, enabling unguided imaging sessions even with long focal lengths.
Compact, robust and ultra-light (5.8 kg), it supports up to 20 kg of load without counterweight. Its black anodized CNC-machined metal body incorporates a electronic brake to stop the mount safely in the event of a power cut.
Equipped with theiMate computer The iMate is a fully autonomous, on-board device. The iMate is based on a 64-bit ARM architecture with the following software packages KStars, Ekos and INDI drivers pre-installed. No need for an external computer or racket: connect cameras, filter wheels and other accessories directly via the built-in ports.

The HAE43B EC iMate is the ideal solution for demanding astrophotographers looking for a lightweight, intelligent and extremely accurate system. It sets the standard for portable and fixed installations without compromising on performance.
Portable harmonic mount for astrophotography and visual observation: 20 kg without counterweights, 25 kg with, for a 5.8 kg head. Can be used in equatorial or azimuthal mode. Recommended capacity for astrophotography: 18.8 kg, or 75 % of the advertised load, to maintain precise tracking.
Version B: Built-in iMate controller (mini-computer running KStars/Ekos), controllable from a PC or tablet without a cable. Version EC: High-resolution encoder on the AD axis and RPEC correction, for longer exposures without autoguiding. Electronic brake on both axes and AC adapter included.
No, for instruments weighing up to 20 kg. For weights over 20 kg and up to 25 kg, a rod and a counterweight must be added (Ø 20 × 200 mm, 3/8″-16 thread; rod sold separately). Available in our catalog: iOptron P-SGP-CWS 20 mm Counterweight Bar, iOptron 3006-10 4.5 kg Counterweight for 20 mm Rod.
The iOptron HAE43B-EC is powered by 12 V DC, 5 A (5.5 × 2.1 mm plug); a power adapter is included. Power consumption: 0.8 A during tracking, 1.3 A during GoTo. The power supply is included. The included AC adapter is intended for indoor use; in the field, use a 12 V battery.
The iOptron HAE43B-EC is sold without a tripod. In our catalog: Column extension for iOptron LiteRoc - HAE69, HAE43, HAZ71, iOptron LiteRoc tripod - CEM40/HAE43/HEM44/GEM45, iOptron MiniPier 8-inch Column Extension 8040-8. A column extension is recommended with a long tube, so that it does not touch the feet when aiming near the pole.
The iOptron HAE43B-EC can be controlled using a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi, or a computer via USB (ASCOM, INDI). For autoguiding (ST4 port), a guide scope such as the 52 Scope guide or the Sky-Watcher EVOGUIDE-50ED is appropriate.
The iOptron HAE43B-EC is available without accessories, with the Go2Nova hand controller, or with the iPolar (an electronic polar finder for quick alignment).
