Monture nomade pour l'astrophotographie et le visuel : 10 kg sans contrepoids et jusqu'à 15 kg avec le kit de contrepoids, pour une tête de 4,3 kg. Elle fonctionne en équatorial comme en azimutal. Capacité conseillée en astrophotographie : 11,3 kg, soit 75 % de la charge annoncée, pour garder un suivi précis.
Réducteur à onde de déformation (strain wave) : pas de contrepoids nécessaire jusqu'à la charge nominale, pas de jeu, Wi-Fi et Bluetooth intégrés, compatible ASIAIR. Face aux équatoriales classiques, on gagne énormément en poids transporté, au prix d'une erreur périodique plus élevée qui impose l'autoguidage en astrophoto.

La Sky-Watcher WAVE-100i s'alimente en 12 V DC, 2 A. L'alimentation n'est pas fournie : nous conseillons l'alimentation 12 V 10 A sur secteur, ou la Pocket Powerbox Advance (Gen2) pour distribuer le 12 V à la monture et aux accessoires sur le terrain.
La Sky-Watcher WAVE-100i est livrée avec son trépied carbone WAVE (2,4 kg). Avec un tube long ou en visant près du pôle, une extension de colonne évite que l'instrument touche les pieds : Column extension for Sky-Watcher WAVE mount. La tête seule existe aussi : Sky-Watcher WAVE-100i.
La Sky-Watcher WAVE-100i se pilote avec un smartphone ou une tablette en Wi-Fi et Bluetooth ou un ordinateur en USB (ASCOM). Elle est compatible ASIAIR : ZWO ASIAIR Plus 256 GB or ZWO ASIAIR Mini.
