BRESSER MicroOcular Full HD eyepiece camera - the easy way to capture microscope and telescope images
Visit BRESSER MicroOcular Full HD is a USB eye camera designed to directly replace an eyepiece and record
photos and videos on PC in 1920 × 1080 (Full HD). This is a “simplicity/price” oriented product: ideal for documenting observations,
share in class, create content, or telescope lunar/planetary imaging without getting into a complex setup.
What is the purpose of this type of camera?
- Under the microscope documentation in light background and in reflected light (opaque samples: insects, grains, minerals, PCBs, etc.).
- Through the telescope : capturing the Moon and bright planets (typically used in video for stacking afterwards).
Highlights
- Full HD (1920 × 1080) standard video format, practical and easy to process.
- Up to 25 fps sufficient for an introduction to planetary/lunar video and live microscopy.
- Simple installation replace the eyepiece, connect via USB and capture using the supplied software.
- Metal case + mini-USB 2.0 robust design and universal connection.
- Wide compatibility via included adapters (microscopes + 1.25″ telescopes).
- Integrated UV/IR filter useful for limiting focus drift and improving rendering with certain optics/sensors.
What you need to know before choosing
- It's not a “scientific” camera” The sensor and USB 2.0 aim for simplicity, not maximum throughput.
- Field and sampling As with any “eye camera”, the actual field of view depends very much on the optics (microscope/telescope) and mechanical adaptation.
- For the demanding planetary astro (high frame rates, ROI, advanced processing), a dedicated USB 3.0 camera will generally perform better.

- Telescope insertion : adapter 31.7 mm (1.25″) with 1.25″ filter thread (useful for adding a lunar/IR-cut filter, etc.).
Software & usage
Acquisition software (multilingual) for Windows is available for download, enabling image and video recording.
In practice: for planetary video, the most common use is to capture a sequence, then stack/process it in third-party software.

For whom is it the right choice?
- You want a simple, economical camera for document your observations under the microscope.
- You want to make your first captures Moon/planets telescope, without investing in a dedicated astro camera.
- Looking for a solution school / workshop / demonstration quick connection, immediate results.
