With a diameter of 114 mm, This telescope offers sufficient light-gathering capacity to observe a wide range of celestial objects. Its focal length of 500 mm (focus report f/4.4) makes it a luminous and versatile instrument, ideal for exploring both the Moon and planets that nebulae and star cluster. The primary mirror parabolic guarantees better image quality than a spherical mirror, with reduced optical aberrations. The telescope achieves a maximum useful magnification of x230, already offering a good level of detail for an instrument in this category.
One of the great assets of this model is its frame AZ-GTe GoTo, compact and lightweight, capable of supporting instruments up to 5 kg. It incorporates a WiFi device allowing the telescope to be controlled directly from a smartphone or tablet via the SynScan (iOS and Android). The mount creates its own WiFi network, so it can be used anywhere without an Internet connection.
The GoTo system provides access to a database of more than 10,000 celestial objects. After a simple alignment (assisted by the app), you can select an object and let the telescope point at it automatically. The app also offers viewing recommendations and helps identify visible objects, making the experience particularly accessible for beginners.
Unlike the AZ-GTi mount, the AZ-GTe version does not feature the Freedom-Find™. However, it's still very powerful and intuitive, thanks in particular to its modern mobile interface, which is much more user-friendly than traditional rackets.
The telescope is supplied with two eyepieces of 25 mm and 10 mm, with different levels of magnification to suit the objects observed. The red dot viewfinder makes it easier to locate targets during the alignment phase.
