Visit BRESSER MikroCamII 20 MP 1″ is the “wide-field” camera in the MikroCam range. Its strong point is not just definition,
but above all its 1″ sensor (Sony IMX183, approx. 13.06 × 8.76 mm) to capture a significantly wider image field
than most conventional microscope cameras. It is designed for professional documentation, education,
lab and quality control where you want to see “more scene” in every shot.

• Large 1″ sensor allows you to document large fields (often much closer to the field observed with the eyepiece).

When it's really relevant

• If you want to maximize the field (e.g. documentation close to the field of view of a 10x/22 eyepiece).
• If you publish/report rich images, comfortable cropping, usable details.
• If you use contrast techniques (e.g. darkfield/phase), where noise and sensitivity count.

Important note: possible vignetting

Because of the large sensor, However, this camera is not optimal on all microscopes: it can produce a
edge darkening (vignetting) depending on optical configuration (photo tube, projective, useful diameter).
In most cases, BRESSER indicates that this can be corrected with a optical 1× screw-in (item no. : 5914001).

Compatibility note

• Not recommended for the trinocular tube of the ETD-201 only a small portion of the field would be usable.
• Measures : require a calibration preparation (not included) for reliable metrology.
• Windows software for Windows 10 / 11.
