The mounting holes allow for the installation of a Vixen or Losmandy dovetail under the clamps, as well as a second plate or guiding clamps above them. This design is suitable for setting up a photography mount with accessories mounted in parallel.
Each component is machined from a solid block of aluminum, then sandblasted and anodized. Central alignment marks also make it easier to pair these components with mechanical accessories from other brands, provided their interfaces are verified. The PLUS series comes in several sizes: the selection should be based on the tube’s outer diameter, not on the optical diameter of the lens or mirror.
