The reducer 0.84× Sharpstar is designed specifically for Sharpstar's 50EDPH telescope, offering users a focal length reduction while flattening the field. This reducer greatly enhances the telescope's imaging capability by allowing wider views and shorter exposure times, making it an excellent choice for astrophotographers wishing to capture vast expanses of nebulae, star clusters and fast, faint celestial objects.
By reducing the focal ratio to f/4.6, this reducer makes it possible to capture images with a wider field of view. Optimized for APS-C coverage, it is ideally suited to sensors of this size, guaranteeing sharp, round stars across the entire image surface.
Fully CNC machined, the 0.84× gearbox is designed for optimum durability, with metal plugs on each end to protect it when not in use. Its compact, lightweight design (0.24 kg) makes it convenient to transport and install, offering great flexibility for users on the move.
In short, the reducer 0.84× for Sharpstar 50EDPH is the ideal accessory for astrophotographers using the 50EDPH, increasing the telescope's imaging capacity and enabling sharper, brighter photos over a wider field.
