BRESSER Analyth LCD microscope - stand-alone digital workshop microscope (QC / inspection / hobby)

Visit BRESSER Analyth LCD is a workshop microscope designed primarily for’reflected light observation
(surface inspections, components, raw materials), while keeping a constant transmitted light for transparent samples.
The approach is production-friendly: integrated 22.5 cm display, control at the USB mouse, registration on microSD,
and a continuous optical zoom for fast access to the right magnification. No PC required.

Positioning: why this model stands out

  • Real workshop tool optimized for incident light, with 21 LED ring light anti-shadow.
  • Comfort large integrated display (22.5 cm) for long, fatigue-free working.
  • Quality control designed for inspection and measurement (with optional calibration).
  • Stand-alone photos/videos on microSD with a single click (microSD 16 GB included).

Continuous optical zoom: fast and efficient

Here, we're not using an “eyepiece biology” microscope, but a zoom optics integrated, very practical for quickly finding the right compromise
between field and detail. The advertised zoom is 0.7x to 4.5x (optical), giving a screen magnification of approx. 8.2x to 52.7x
(according to manufacturer's calibration).

  • Optical zoom 0.7x - 4.5x (continuous)
  • On-screen magnification : ~8.2x to ~52.7x
  • Working distance diameter: ~97 mm (comfortable to handle under the lens)
  • Max. object height : 17 mm

Image field: large at first, precise at high zoom

The field is a good indicator of “inspection” usage:

  • At minimum zoom : ~17.5 mm x 10.0 mm (overview)
  • At maximum zoom : ~4.7 mm x 2.5 mm (fine details)

Lighting: incident + transmitted, separately adjustable

To avoid shadows and reveal micro-reliefs, the microscope incorporates :

  • Incident light : 21 LED ring (setting 5 levels)
  • Transmitted light for transparent objects (setting 5 levels, separate)

This combination is useful if you alternate between opaque surfaces/objects (PCBs, parts, minerals, insects)
and translucent samples (films, thin strips, certain materials).

Focusing: precision at high magnification

As you zoom in, the depth of field decreases. BRESSER has therefore provided a coarse + fine focusing,
which is essential for regular, precise use.

  • Focus coarse + fine
  • Tray 2 interchangeable object plates

Integrated camera: Sony IMX335 (5 MP) + microSD recording

The microscope incorporates a sensor-based camera Sony IMX335 (format 1/2,8″), with an announced resolution of 5 MP.
The display is given for 1024 x 600 px on the built-in screen. Photos/videos can be saved directly to microSD
(in practice: ideal for documenting defects, inspection series or observations).

  • Sensor Sony IMX335 (1/2,8″)
  • Sensor resolution 5 MP
  • Screen display 1024 x 600 px
  • Storage microSD (up to 32 GB) 16 GB microSD included

Box contents

  • Digital microscope with zoom lens and integrated screen
  • Integrated LED lighting : incident + transmitted
  • Contrast lens + transmitted light lens
  • USB mouse (control via on-screen menu)
  • Dust cover
  • 16 GB microSD card
  • EU power supply 12 V / 2 A

To whom I recommend it (and to whom not)

  • Excellent choice if your priority is : surface inspection, components, parts, minerals, insects, quality control, fast documentation.
  • Very good if you want a stand-alone (without PC) with a large screen for comfortable working.
  • Less suitable if your main objective is classical biological microscopy on high-magnification slides (cells/bacteria):
In this case, a biological microscope with 40x/100x objectives (and a suitable condenser) would be more appropriate.
