Visit iOptron HAE69C is a hybrid Alt-Az/Equatorial Strain-Wave Gear mount on both axes, designed to offer a unique balance between portability and high load capacity. With only 9 kg (19.8 lb) on the scale, it supports up to 31 kg (69 lb) without counterweight, and 36 kg with its centralized architecture .
The frame is CNC-machined in black-anodized aluminum, ensuring strength and durability. Each axis is fitted with an electronic friction brake to secure the equipment in the event of a power cut.
The HAE69C integrates a main board with USB (base & harness) and Wi-Fi ports, eliminating the need for an external control box or joystick. Users can directly connect computers, tablets or cameras to control the mount or update the firmware.
For those who prefer tactile control, the mount is compatible with the Go2Nova 8411/8409 (OLED, 212,000+ object database) optional .

The model HAE69C EC adds a high-resolution encoder on the RA axis, with real-time periodic correction (RPEC), achieving sufficient accuracy for long images without autoguiding.
The iMate-free configuration is ideal for semi-permanent observatories or those already equipped with an external PC/remote control. The Wi-Fi interface allows control via SkySafari, iOptron Commander Lite, or any software supporting ASCOM, INDI or NINA .
The "Zero position" memory allows the mount to immediately resume its position after a power interruption, without the need for time-consuming realignment.
