The PrimaLuceLab CompactGuide combines a 60-mm achromatic lens with a 240-mm focal length for autoguiding. Its 80-mm PLUS clamps and non-rotating helical eyepiece holder allow it to be integrated with a primary instrument.
The helical eyepiece holder maintains the camera's orientation during adjustment. The 12-mm travel and the included extension tube allow you to pre-focus using a guide camera or an eyepiece. The camera can be inserted into the 31.8 mm barrel or screwed onto the T2 thread.
By adding a 31.8-mm eyepiece, the telescope can also be used as a finder scope. The eyepiece and the guide camera are not included in the advertised package. The two additional mounting plates provide a flat base for installation on the EAGLE using the included M5x12 screws. It is important to distinguish between the 60-mm optical diameter and the 80-mm size of the guide collars.
