FPL-53 triplet glass optics - a reference in imaging

The threefold objective of Esprit-150EDX is equipped with a Ohara FPL-53 glass lensThis guarantees perfect chromatic correction, even on the brightest stars. Coatings MHTC (Metallic High-Transmission Coating) on each air-glass surface ensure a light transmission of 99,5 %with exceptional contrast and sharpness, without glare or color halo.

Professional mechanical design

The aluminium tube incorporates a sliding mist guardrobust CNC clamps with multifunction central handlea 75 mm dovetail Losmandy type and a 3-inch Linear Power eyepiece holder CNC rack-and-pinion, double-speed (11:1). The latter is equipped with a double rotation system (rotating focuser + rotating adapter) to facilitate framing during imaging.

Designed for large sensors and long focal lengths

With its 1050 mm focal length and f/7 ratio, this telescope is ideal for deep-sky objects requiring high magnification and fine resolution. Two optional correctors are available: a field flattener (ref. 20190) for field flatness, and a reducer 0.77x (ref. 20096) to widen the field of view and switch to f/5.4.
