This tripod is designed to offer far superior stability to astronomy set-ups requiring a solid, reliable base. It features stainless steel feet with a diameter of 1.75″, This ensures high rigidity and excellent vibration resistance, even when using heavier telescopes.
The tripod features a central connection system with a standard screw. 3/8″, It is compatible with a wide range of mount heads and astronomical accessories. It is also supplied with a accessory tray, This practical case is ideal for storing eyepieces and small equipment during observation sessions.
Its height can be adjusted from 83.5 cm to 115 cm, This means flexibility of use for both visual observation and astrophotography. This adjustment range makes it easy to adjust the working position to suit the terrain and configuration in use.
This tripod is compatible with Sky-Watcher extension tube 21.5 cm (code 20313), This allows the height to be increased still further, adapting the configuration to more complex assemblies.
It is an excellent upgrade to the standard aluminium tripod supplied with the mounts. AZ5, AZ PRONTO, AZ-GTi, with significantly improved stability for visual observations and astrophotography sessions.
