Discover the Askar 103APO astrograph, a telescope dedicated to enabling more amateurs to own high-performance equipment and explore the mysteries of the universe without worrying about price. This model features an advanced optical design that guarantees sharp images and faithful color reproduction.
This optical system minimizes chromatic aberration, guaranteeing images of exceptional clarity and excellent color rendition, even at high resolution.
The Askar 103APO features a detachable OTA design, allowing the addition of optional accessories such as the 0.6x reducer. The latter lowers the focal ratio to f/4 for a wider field of view and shorter exposure times. The design also allows the use of a binoviewer for stereo observations.
The Askar 103APO tube is equipped with two finder bases, positioned on either side of the focuser, to maximize accessory space without the need for disassembly. The multifunctional handle, designed with a special slot, can be used as a support for mounting a finder. The tube rings, weighing just 750 g, incorporate a hand screw for easy opening and locking, and the 290 mm Vixen dovetail plate ensures compatibility with most equatorial mounts.
The Askar 103APO features a rigid 3.3" rack-and-pinion focuser, compatible with most motorized focusers. This system incorporates a high-precision 10 cm scale and 1:10 fine adjustment. What's more, the eyepiece holder features a 360° rotator with an enlarged locking screw to guarantee perfect alignment, even under load.
To enhance image quality, the inside of the lens hood is lined with matte felt, and the inner walls of the main tube are coated with matte paint, with an internal baffle to reduce reflections. Each telescope is fitted with a unique identification ring, and the retractable mist-shield system, locked by CNC screws, protects the lens from external light and potential damage.
The Askar 103APO is designed to provide a superior shooting and observing experience. Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or an astrophotographer looking to capture exceptionally precise images, this astrograph lets you explore the universe with ease and reliability, while benefiting from a modular design and outstanding optical performance.
