Compact design and high-quality materials

The Indigo OAG is machined from 6061 aluminum, used in the aerospace industry, guaranteeing lightness and strength. Its overall thickness is just 10 mm (14 mm with adapters), making it one of the thinnest optical splitters on the market. This design allows easy integration into complex configurations, while minimizing optical draft.

Adjustable prism and wide field of view

  • 12 × 8 mm prism This multi-layer, anti-glare prism offers excellent light transmission, guaranteeing bright, round stars for the guidance camera.
  • Adjustable height The prism can be moved to optimize the illumination of the guiding sensor, thus avoiding vignetting on large imaging sensors.

Universal compatibility

The Indigo OAG is designed to adapt to a wide range of equipment thanks to its multiple connection options:

  • Telescope side Thread M54x0.75 or M48x0.75.
  • Camera side Thread M48x0.75 or M54x0.75.
  • Guidance camera Standard 1.25" connection.
  • Through holes (M2/M3): Allow direct attachment to modern CMOS cameras and third-party filter wheels.

Outstanding optical performance

  • Free opening 53.5 mm, guaranteeing maximum light transmission for large-format imaging sensors.
  • Minimum optical path 14 mm (10 mm for the OAG + 4 mm for the adapter), ideal for configurations requiring low backfocus.
  • Compatible with Indigo filter wheel For a total combined optical path of just 33 mm.

Advanced options

A premium version (PEG-INDIGO-OAGPREM) includes an integrated helical focuser, enabling precise focus adjustment for guiding cameras. This focuser can also be added at a later date as an upgrade.
