The Sky-Watcher Virtuoso GTi 150P is a compact and revolutionary Dobson telescope, combining optical power, a motorized GoTo mount with integrated Wi-Fi, and a foldable design for optimum portability. Ideal for demanding beginners and nomadic astronomers alike, this tabletop telescope offers brilliant views of the Moon, planets, galaxies and nebulaeand still fit in a carry bag!
With a generous opening of 150 mm and a focal length of 750 mm (f/5), this telescope captures 44 % more light than a 130 mm, revealing more detail in deep-sky objects. Its Newton optics diffraction-limited technology delivers sharp, high-contrast images. And thanks to exclusive RAQ™ (Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz) coatingslight is reflected at 94 %, for brighter observations.
The Virtuoso GTi 150P is fully motorized and features controllable from your smartphone or tablet via the free SynScan Pro app (iOS/Android). Its GoTo system allows you to automatically locate more than 10,000 celestial objects nebulae, galaxies, star clusters and all Messier, NGC, IC and Caldwell objects. What's more, thanks to Freedom Find™You can move the tube manually without losing alignment.
Thanks to its folding optical tube inspired by the famous Dobson Flextube, this telescope is easy to store and transport. Ideal for mountain outings or weekends under starry skies, it can be set up in just a few minutes and doesn't require a tripod - its Dobson base is already integrated.
