The Biolux NV 20x-1280x microscope with USB HD camera is designed to provide a complete, step-by-step introduction to microscopy. Thanks to its comprehensive equipment, you can get started straight away, both in visual observation and in capturing images and videos on your computer.
It features an integrated Barlow-Zoom placed in the eyepiece tube: an additional sliding lens allows magnification to be varied continuously up to a factor of 2 in visual observation. Combined with 3 objectives and 2 wide-field eyepieces, This system offers a wide range of magnifications from 20x to 1280x.
The microscope is supplied with 2 eyepieces (5x and 16x) and 3 lenses (4x, 10x, 40x). The integrated Barlow-Zoom system enables magnification to be increased up to twofold, for fine-tuning of magnification to suit the sample and the level of detail required.
The eyepiece 5x is indicated as particularly suitable for spectacle wearers.
The microscope is equipped with a mechanical cross table allowing the preparation to be moved precisely. This greatly enhances ease of use at high magnification, when small movements are required to center and explore the specimen.
A Adjustable LED for lighting in transmitted light and in incident light, with a control for adjusting the intensity according to the object observed.
The system includes a filter wheel with color filters and diaphragms, to optimize contrast and illumination, depending on the preparation. Incident lighting can also be used to observe non-transparent objects (e.g. leaves, small insects, etc.).
The kit includes a USB HD eye camera with metal casing, for on-screen observation and easy documentation of results. The camera offers 1280 × 720 (HD).

The microscope operates on AA batteries (3 pieces), so it can be used without a nearby power outlet. A carrying case A sturdy case is supplied for storage and travel, along with a dust cover.
