Visit Sky-Watcher focal reducer / field corrector 0.77x has been specially designed for the apochromatic telescope Sky-Watcher Esprit-120 ED. Thanks to its high-end three-lens optical design, this accessory considerably improves astrophotography performance by reducing the telescope's focal length while effectively correcting field curvature.

With its reduction factor of 0.77x, This corrector transforms the Esprit-120ED into an even faster and brighter instrument. The focal ratio is reduced to f/5.4, This reduces exposure times while increasing the photographic field of view. This feature is particularly appreciated for deep-sky imaging, especially of extensive nebulae, galaxies and large stellar fields.

The optical formula at three lenses provides excellent aberration correction and produces fine, punctual stars across the entire field. The reducer/corrector generates a fully illuminated, corrected image circle of 34 mm, perfectly suited to APS-C. It can also be used with full format,
offering great versatility for different astronomical imaging systems.

The corrector is supplied with a standard threaded adapter. M48 x 0.75 and a 55 mm. This configuration allows direct compatibility with Sky-Watcher's Canon EOS and Nikon adapter rings,
making it easy to install an SLR or hybrid camera on the Esprit-120ED.

After removal of the supplied adapter, an internal thread M71x1 becomes accessible with a maximum back focus of 75 mm. This offers greater flexibility to experienced astrophotographers wishing to create their own optical configurations or use specific accessories such as filter wheels, cooled cameras or motorized focusing systems.
