Visit Sky-Watcher focal reducer / field corrector 0.77x has been specially developed for the apochromatic telescope Sky-Watcher Esprit-150 ED. Designed to meet the requirements of advanced astrophotographers, this accessory increases the photographic field of view while improving the instrument's brightness and optical correction.

Thanks to its 0.77x, the Esprit-150ED's focal length is reduced to give a fast focal ratio of f/5.4. This reduction reduces the exposure times required for deep-sky astrophotography, while capturing a wider field of view. This makes it ideal for photographing extensive nebulae, vast stellar regions or large galaxies in maximum detail.

The corrector uses an advanced optical design with three fully multi-coated lenses (Fully Multi-Coated). This multi-coating optimizes light transmission and effectively reduces internal reflections and loss of contrast. The result is a brighter, sharper image, with pinpoint stars right up to the edges of the photographic field.

The reducer/corrector produces a corrected, fully illuminated image circle of 36 mm, making it ideally suited to sensors APS-C and compatible with cameras full format. This wide field of view means that the Esprit-150ED's optical performance can be fully exploited with modern, high-resolution sensors.

The system is supplied with a standard adapter featuring a M48 x 0.75 and a 55 mm. This configuration is ideal for direct use with Canon EOS and Nikon Sky-Watcher adapter rings, facilitating
integration of SLR or hybrid cameras in an astrophotography configuration.

After removal of the supplied adapter, an internal thread M71x1 becomes accessible with a maximum back focus of 75 mm. This configuration offers great flexibility for astrophotographers wishing to use customized solutions including cooled cameras, filter wheels, additional correctors or motorized focusing systems.

The Sky-Watcher 0.77x reducer/corrector is also compatible with 2-inch astronomical filters. This compatibility enables the use of anti-light pollution, UHC, OIII or narrowband filters, particularly useful for astrophotography from urban areas or for narrowband imaging.

Weighing in at around 910 g caps included, this corrector benefits from a solid, precise construction ensuring excellent support of the optical train. Its high-end finish blends in perfectly with Sky-Watcher's Esprit series, guaranteeing reliable use even with heavy, complex photographic set-ups.
