Reducer / Corrector 0.85x Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED DS-PRO

Reducer / Corrector 0.85x Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED DS-PRO

The reducer / corrector 0.85x for the Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED DS-PRO is a top-of-the-range accessory designed for demanding astrophotographers looking for optimum astro-imaging performance. Thanks to its superior design, it effectively reduces the telescope's focal length while considerably improving field correction at the image edge.

With its reduction factor of 0.85x, This accessory increases the photographic field of view and improves the focal ratio of the instrument. This makes the optics brighter and faster, reducing exposure times while facilitating the capture of extended deep-sky objects such as nebulae, star clusters and large galactic fields.

The integrated corrector greatly improves the quality of stars at the edges of the sensor by correcting the field curvature. The resulting images show finer, more homogeneous stars across the entire photographic field, an essential advantage for astrophotographers using APS-C or full-frame sensors.

This model is specially optimized for Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED DS-PRO, This is a perfect match for the optical characteristics of this apochromatic telescope. Its connection system uses a M48 telescope side as well as a M48 camera side, This ensures a stable connection and reduces the risk of vignetting.

The reducer/corrector is designed for use with Canon or Nikon M48 T-rings, This makes for easy, secure integration with SLR and hybrid cameras dedicated to astrophotography.

Robust, high-performance and perfectly suited to deep-sky imaging, this 0.85x reducer/corrector is an essential accessory for fully exploiting the capabilities of the Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED PRO.
