Visit Sky-Watcher EQ5 is the reference equatorial mount for amateur astronomers wishing to take their skills to the next level. stability, precision and upgradeability. More robust than entry-level models, it is designed to support heavier instruments while offering smooth, reliable tracking.
It is an excellent basis for the’advanced visual observation and a serious introduction to astrophotography, The new, easy-to-operate, and easy-to-install design is the result of a solid mechanical design and a wide range of options.
The EQ5 mount effectively compensates for the Earth's rotation thanks to its axis of rotation.’right ascension (R.A.). Once correctly aligned with the celestial pole, it enables objects to be tracked with great precision.
Visit slow motion commands on the R.A. and declination (DEC) axes enable :
This precision is particularly useful for planetary and deep-sky observations.
The EQ5 is designed to offer excellent stability thanks to :
These elements enable precise pointing of celestial objects using their coordinates, and guarantee durability over time.
The frame rests on a stainless steel tripod, much more rigid than aluminum, offering :
The tripod is fully adjustable and equipped with a accessory tray handy for organizing your gear.
The EQ5 is equipped with a number of features that make it easy to set up:
