The frame AZ-Go2 Go-To Alt-Azimuth creates its own WiFi network, allowing it to be used completely autonomously, without depending on an external network. Simply use the free SynScan (iOS or Android), enter your coordinates and perform a simple alignment to start exploring the sky. The intuitive interface lets you select an object and let the telescope automatically point it precisely.

The Go-To system provides access to a database of more than 10,000 celestial objects, The new, easy-to-access catalogs include the Messier, NGC, IC and Caldwell catalogs, as well as named stars, double stars and solar system objects. Advanced features such as “Tonight's Best Sky Tour”, object identification and remote control enhance the user experience. Two-axis motorized tracking ensures that objects remain precisely in the field, with different tracking modes: sidereal, lunar and solar.

Optically, the Explorer-130P is equipped with a primary mirror. 130 mm parabolic dish, offering excellent image quality without spherical aberration. With a focal length of 650 mm and a focal ratio of f/5, It offers an ideal balance between power and field of vision. It excels at observing Moonand planets, as well as deep-sky objects such as nebulae, galaxies and star cluster.

The mirrors are treated Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz (RAQ™), offering up to 94% reflectivity. This coating significantly enhances image brightness and contrast, while ensuring excellent durability. The telescope is supplied with two 10 mm and 20 mm, which enables magnifications of x65 and x32.5, with a maximum potential of x260.

Visit red dot viewfinder facilitates initial object location, particularly during alignment. Once this stage has been completed, the Go-To system takes over to automatically point the targets. Different travel speeds (up to 800x) for fast, precise positioning.

The Explorer-130P AZ-Go2 is also compatible with the ASCOM for computer control, as well as planetarium applications such as SkySafari Plus/Pro. It can also be used with an optional SynScan snowshoe, offering total flexibility to suit your preferences.

The tripod in adjustable stainless steel ensures excellent stability during observations. It features a practical accessory tray for organizing your equipment. The whole unit is easy to transport, making it an excellent choice for nomadic observations.

The telescope is powered by 8 AA batteries or via an external power supply 12V, offering great freedom of use in the field. Finally, the’universal smartphone adapter included (compatible with 54 to 90 mm wide cameras) makes it easy to capture images of the Moon and shiny objects.
