The Explorer 130P is equipped with a parabolic primary mirror of 130 mm, A feature usually reserved for higher-end models. This type of mirror eliminates spherical aberrations, resulting in a sharper, higher-contrast image rich in detail.

With a focal length of 650 mm (f/5), This telescope offers a wide field of view while retaining good magnification capability. It is ideal for observing :
