The Science ETD-201 trinocular stereomicroscope is a top-of-the-range optical stereo magnifier designed for 3D observation and camera documentation. It combines a 0.8x to 5x stereo zoom lens (6.25x zoom) with wide-field eyepieces, to cover a large continuous magnification from 8x to 50x. Sa long working distance of approx. 105 mm facilitates sample handling and inspection, even of larger parts.
This microscope is suitable for a wide range of applications, including medicine, agriculture and forestry, forensics, research and teaching, as well as the assembly and testing of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.
The 6.25x zoom lens allows continuous magnification adjustment. The Click-Stop offers predefined positions that lock into place, to reproducibly restore identical magnifications (particularly useful for measurements and comparisons).
The wide-field eyepieces (WF10x) feature a field value (FN) of 22, allowing field of view between 4.5 and 27.5 mm depending on the magnification used.
The trinocular head can be rotated to 360° and incorporates two inclined 45° for comfortable viewing. The camera tube is adjustable parfocal, This allows the focus to be maintained between visual observation and image capture.
A C-Mount adapter is supplied for connecting a camera, with compatibility up to 1/2″ sensors (depending on camera used).
The microscope is equipped with LED incident light and lighting Transmitted-light LEDs. Both sources can be used individually or in combination, and are continuously adjustable.
The angle of illumination in incident light is adjustable and lockable, to optimize the rendering of reliefs and textures according to the nature of the sample.
The microscope features a wide base with turntable, and a wide height adjustment range, It can also be used to observe larger objects. Focusing is via a coarse focus robust, suitable for intensive use.
