The SVBONY MK127 is a compact, high-performance Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, ideal for detailed observation of the Moon and planets. With its 127 mm aperture and 1500 mm focal length (f/11.8), it delivers sharp, high-contrast images, even at high magnifications. Its closed design limits internal turbulence and its compact size makes it easy to transport and assemble.
The MK127 is just as well suited to ambitious beginners as it is to enthusiasts looking for a portable instrument specializing in planetary observations. Mounted on a stable equatorial or alt-azimuth mount, it reveals a wealth of detail on the lunar surface, Jupiter's cloud bands or Saturn's rings. For imaging, combined with a planetary camera, it can capture high-resolution video, which can then be stacked to produce detailed images.
